Convert legacy presentations locally
Open a PowerPoint 97–2003 .ppt, .pps, or .pot file, or a compatible binary WPS Presentation .dps or .dpt file. Convert the saved slides to PDF, inspect the resulting pages, and download the same PDF shown in the preview. Modern PowerPoint files belong in the PPTX to PDF Converter.
PDF appearance and compatibility
Slides retain their saved order, size, and orientation, including hidden slides. Supported text remains selectable, and supported shapes, pictures, and charts are included. OCR is not added to scanned text. Fonts are substituted when the original font is unavailable, so spacing and line breaks can change. Advanced effects may differ from the original application. Check all pages before relying on the PDF.
The export is static: animations, transitions, audio/video playback, speaker notes, comments, macros, and digital signatures are not preserved or verified. External document resources are not loaded. Password-protected files, damaged presentations, and incompatible WPS or older PowerPoint formats produce an error. A renamed extension does not change the underlying format. For reading without conversion, use the PPT / DPS Viewer.
Privacy and browser resources
Conversion runs on your device. The first conversion downloads about 90 MB of engine and font files, which your browser may cache; the presentation itself is never uploaded. The engine is loaded only after you choose a file. Current browsers with WebAssembly and shared-memory support are required. Large or complex presentations can take time and memory. You can cancel, close, or replace the file; no unfinished PDF is offered for download. There is no fixed file-size or slide-count quota.
