Read a book in your browser
Open a local MOBI, AZW, AZW3, or PRC file to browse its contents, read chapters, and select or copy text. Adjust the text size or reading width, and use focus reading for more space. Available titles, authors, covers, illustrations, and internal references are shown.
Format compatibility
This reader supports unencrypted, reflowable MOBI and KF8 books. Files containing both versions are read once, using the newer representation when available. AZW and PRC extensions can also contain unrelated formats; the file name alone does not determine compatibility.
Encrypted or copy-protected books, fixed-layout books, and newer Kindle formats such as KFX are not supported. Older books can have simpler formatting and less detailed contents. Complex typography, footnotes, and embedded artwork may differ from a dedicated reading application. A missing cover does not prevent reading the available text.
Privacy and reading controls
Your book stays in this browser. Scripts, audio, video, and remote resources are not loaded. Ordinary web links open only when you activate them. No account, upload, or conversion service is needed, and closing or replacing the book releases its resources.
There is no preset file-size or chapter-count limit. Large or complex books still depend on your device and browser memory. Reading controls stay separate from the book text, and changing text size keeps your current reading position where possible.
