Read a saved web archive
Open an MHTML or MHT file to read its main saved page with bundled images and styles. Files stay on your device. Use the document outline, zoom, width control, and focus mode to read and select text comfortably.
Bundled resources and original location
The viewer resolves content-location and content-ID references inside the archive. An available original location is displayed as reference information, without visiting it. Missing images, styles, and fonts are never fetched from the live website. External links open only when you select them.
Compatibility
This reader supports HTML pages inside multipart/related web archives, including base64 and quoted-printable resources and common text encodings. Incomplete captures show recovered content with a notice. Unusual nested multipart structures and email messages receive a clear explanation.
Scripts, forms, redirects, embedded apps, and nested pages are disabled. Unsupported image formats and complex site layouts may differ from the original. The viewer cannot restore website sessions or content that was not saved in the archive. For a damaged file, save a new web archive in the original application.
