Preview a local LaTeX document
Open a .tex or .latex file to read a limited, self-contained preview. Supported content includes titles, headings, paragraphs, common lists, simple tables, inline and display mathematics, and some locally defined macros. The original source is available for read-only inspection.
Understand the supported subset
This is a reading preview, not a full TeX build. Packages, custom document classes, included files, external figures, TikZ diagrams, and bibliography databases are not loaded. Simple references and an inline thebibliography may display, but package-dependent features and advanced layouts may not. Page breaks, fonts, spacing, and equation numbering can differ from a compiled PDF.
Preview notes identify detected unsupported commands and possible structural problems, with source lines where available. These checks are not complete TeX validation. Inspect the source when content looks incomplete. Wide tables and formulas scroll horizontally within the document.
Read privately and comfortably
Files are processed on your device without uploads, automatic document-resource requests, or saved document contents. Use the outline, zoom, and focus reading mode for longer documents. UTF-8 and BOM-marked UTF-16 text are supported. There are no fixed file-size or heading-count limits; actual browser and engine resource constraints may prevent a preview.
