Open an .fb2 book or a compressed .fbz or .fb2.zip publication. Your file stays in this browser. Nothing is uploaded or saved automatically, and remote images are not downloaded.
Follow the book, including its notes
Use the contents to browse sections and nested headings. Adjust text size or reading width, and enter focus reading for more room. After following a note or internal link, use Back to reading position to return to the place you left. Text remains selectable for copying. The title, author, cover, and description appear when available.
Compatibility and limitations
The reader supports FictionBook 2 text, paragraphs, emphasis, poetry, tables, and embedded raster illustrations. Common declared text encodings, including Cyrillic and UTF-16, are detected. Appearance can differ from another reading app. Missing images or unsupported content are identified without hiding the available text.
Compressed files must contain one FB2 book. Extract archives containing several books and open your chosen book separately. Encrypted archives, malformed XML, and documents using external entity declarations cannot be opened. There is no fixed file-size or section-count limit; available browser memory still affects very large books.
