Read EPUB books in your browser
Open a local EPUB or drop it into the reader. Browse the table of contents, move between chapters, and select or copy text. Adjust the text size and reading width while keeping your place. The book’s title, authors, and cover appear when available; a missing title falls back to the filename.
Privacy and compatibility
The reader opens ordinary, reflowable EPUB 2 and EPUB 3 publications. It preserves the book’s reading order, paragraph structure, tables, embedded illustrations, and available local fonts. Internal chapter and footnote links stay in the reader. Ordinary external web links open only when you choose them.
Files stay on your device and are not uploaded or saved by this tool. Book scripts do not run, and external images, styles, fonts, audio, and video are not fetched automatically. Protected books and fixed or mixed page layouts cannot be displayed. Vertical writing and unusual publisher styles can vary between browsers; font substitution can change line breaks. Missing chapters and unavailable resources receive visible feedback rather than being presented as a complete book.
There is no fixed file-size or chapter-count cap. Actual browser memory constraints still apply. Closing or replacing the book releases its reading resources. This is a reader, without editing, export, cloud sync, or saved reading history.
